Öjaby Church

Probably the current Öjaby church was preceded by a wooden church. The stone church that stands on the site today, was built in the 15th century. The sacristy was added in the middle of the 17th century and shortly afterwards a wooden armory. The latter was replaced by a stone armory in 1779. In the middle of the 19th century, there were plans for Öjaby parish, together with the neighboring parish in Härlöv, to build a new church, but Öjaby then chose to keep the old church.
